What is Autostart?

Autostart is a flexible, customizable front-end for a CD-ROM program. It
automatically runs when a CD-ROM is inserted into a Windows computer,
and it prompts the user to install a piece of software, or exit. It's
useful primarily for developers who wish to distribute software on a
CD-ROM and don't want to take the time to write their own autorunner
program.

meet your needs are in the Autostart documentation, which is included as

Developers may download and try Autostart for free, but may not release
commercial or shareware CD-ROMs, including CD-ROMS distributed with
other products such as magazines, without permission.

Shareware, freeware, and open-source developers may purchase a license
to use Autostart for $20. Commercial developers must purchase a
commercial license. Commercial licenses may include custom design,
custom branding, logos, custom buttons, and other features. Shareware,
freeware, and open-source developers may not remove the copyright notice
which appears on the install dialog; this notice is not present in
