A lesson for commercial photographers: Learn a bit about what you're shooting before you shoot it.

This billboard has a number of problems. For starters, a dominatrix would not wear a collar like the one on the model here; but worse yet, the model isn't even holding the flogger correctly.

You'd think that a photographer given an assignment in an area where he clearly has little knowledge--"Hey, Bill, we need a picture of a dominatrix!"--would do a bit of research before going into the studio. Ten minutes on Google would have improved this billboard dramatically. In fact, given the cost of professional photography, you'd think that any reasonable client would insist on some bare minimum of accuracy in a photo shoot.

Apparently, though, you'd be wrong. "Bubba the Love Sponge" (whose real name is Todd Clem) is a now-disgraced former DJ of a local radio morning show. He's a vulgar, crass, strictly lowbrow mouth-breather; it's not surprising that a billboard advertising his particular brand of morning entertainment would also suffer from such a superficial, banal apporach that it would make such basic errors.
